Community Hospice volunteers honored veteran residents of Augustine Landing

Veteran residents of Augustine Landing were honored this week by the Volunteer and Community Relations team of Community Hospice & Palliative Care.
“Too often we forget the seniors who’ve served our country, and being a veteran myself, I never pass up the opportunity to say ‘thank you’ to fellow veterans as well as their spouses and family,” said Carnell Hall, a veteran volunteer ambassador.
“This a proud day for me, and I’m honored to be honored,” said Marine veteran Stan Kruse.
Community Hospice & Palliative Care is a We Honor Veterans Level III partner and has served veterans since 1979. The We Honor Veterans program is part of a collaboration between the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
