Community Hospice & Palliative Care's very own Chief Medical Director Dr. Ana Sanchez joined WJCT's Abukar Adan to discuss House Bill 21, a legislative measure launched in July 2018 that requires medical providers to check the Electronic-Florida Online Controlled Substances Evaluation Program (E-FORSCE) before prescribing drugs to patients over the age of 16.
Dr. Sanchez discussed the impact of the new bill on our patients and families, and emphasized that patient care is always the first priority in how we serve. Head here for the full interview with WJCT!
