Jacksonville, Fla. (Feb. 14, 2019) – When it comes to coping with life’s often unforeseen trials, it helps to have a sturdy network for comfort, support and guidance. With this goal in mind, The Bethel Church and Charles M. Neviaser Educational Institute of Community Hospice & Palliative Care are uniting to host the “Planning For The Storms of Life” conference on Saturday, March 2 from noon to 3 p.m. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m.

Community members are welcome to attend the free conference at The Bethel Church’s Jones-Scott Fellowship Hall located at 215 Bethel Baptist Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

“This day will give the community important tools and resources to use to face the challenging days that most families inevitably confront,” said Community Hospice & Palliative Care Vice President of Education and Community Engagement Jim Monahan.

“Planning for The Storms of Life” communicates a deeply significant message: it is never too early to start preparing and is often easier to make plans before difficult times associated with sudden, advanced or terminal illness.
