While most of the world is celebrating the start of the new year, those of us who are grieving may not feel as cheerful. For anyone mourning a loss due to death, Valentine’s Day can be particularly difficult because it emphasizes togetherness, love, and romance. Cupid’s arrow can pierce your heart in a very different way on February 14th. What was once a holiday of fun and “warm fuzzies” can turn into a day of sorrow. Community Hospice & Palliative Care offers the opportunity to attend our Healing Hearts Workshop for those facing pain and heartbreak around Valentine’s
Day. Attendees will have the chance to learn valuable resources for coping with grief in a supportive atmosphere.
